Embark on a 5-day photographic getaway where the ever-changing landscapes, vibrant flora, diverse fauna, captivating rock formations, mesmerising sunsets, and celestial night skies. Led by a professional photographer and eco-guide, this enriching course delves into the intricacies of photography, ranging from capturing the intricate details of rare plants through macro photography to creating stunning time-lapse shots of expansive night skies. Whether you favour a DSLR camera or prefer your smartphone, you'll master the art of optimising settings while exploring the less-traveled corners of the Carnarvon Ranges.
Nestled within the remote and expansive Wallaroo private property in the heart of the Carnarvon Ranges you'll discover ancient cycads, multi-layered sandstone formations, panoramic vistas of the Arcadia Valley, Indigenous rock art, and secluded riverscapes.
In the evenings we come together around the campfire to share stories, insights and reflections on the day's photographic pursuits.
This small group retreat includes a night Roma Explorer's Inn and three nights at Wallaroo Outback Retreat, deluxe glamping accommodation at its best.
To book this retreat, no need to select dates on the calendar, just select number of people.

Yes, if they love visiting spectacular places, meeting interesting people and enjoying delicious food, they will love this tour.
