This 3-day storytelling holiday is ideal if you want to experience the best of Longreach stories and outback pioneering life in a short break. Arrive on a Monday or Wednesday and this great value itinerary packs in the three signature Outback Pioneers experiences, two nights’ accommodation at The Staging Post and entry to the Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame and Qantas Founders Museum.

You’ll be galloping in a stagecoach, riding an open-topped double decker on safari across the sunlit plains and cruising the mighty Thomson River. You’ll hear stories of pioneering ingenuity, of Captain Starlight and our own Kinnon family graziers. You’ll discover the history of Eagle Street, the pioneers of flight and the legends of outback stockmen.
